Wet & Wild

This is one of the oldest water parks in the Orlando area and is owned by Universal Studios. This really is a pretty great park.

If you're taking a Disney family vacation and you want to experience the fun and excitement of this attraction, it can be enjoyed by the whole family.

There are 10 thrilling water slides, a wave pool and a lazy river.

Some of the highlights of this park include brain wash, which is a two to four person tube ride that has an incredible 50 foot vertical drop. Another worth mentioning is the black hole, which twists, turns and suddenly drops in pitch black.

There are many luxury as well as economy water park hotels near Wet and Wild. You can stay at any one of them and have easy access to the park. Some even have kitchens and living rooms for a more home family vacation feel.

If you look around you'll be able to find many very good Florida vacation packages, so you can have the most fun while staying in your budget.

This is considered a water park as well as a theme park by Sea World in Orlando. This isn't a typical water park. It has many attractions and you do get wet.

The only exception is you are riding or walking through attractions as compared to actually swimming like at a normal water park.

Some really fun things you can do are walking beneath swimming sharks at the Shark Encounter Attraction. Also, riding on the underwater roller-coaster named the Kraken and swimming with dolphins.

This is really a unique and extremely fun theme/water park for the whole family. With so many water and theme parks to choose from, water park hotels are everywhere, so you can be close and visit all of them.

Lastly, with all the fun and excitement there is in Orlando, nobody makes the trip without spending some time at Disney World. It's just makes the trip complete.

However, when you make plans for a vacation to Florida, you might want to make sure that you have enough time to do everything you want.

Look for water park hotels that are centrally located to all of the attractions, so you can visit everything without having to drive all over the place.
